Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! A time when us moms get showered with affectionate hugs and kisses from our kids, husbands and a plethera of romantic comedies on the Lifetime Network.

Whether you’re a rom-com buff, or just dabble in them here or there, Bleeping Motherhood has rounded up some of the shittiest love movies on the planet:

Top 5 Worst Romantic Comedy Movies That We Love

(I’m sure there’s more, but these are the ones that really shit the bed, but we watch anyway):

5: Couples Retreat –
With a cast that includes people like Vince Vaughn, Kristen Bell, Jason Bateman and Jon Favreau…I don’t know. I guess I expected more? Better? I enjoy the effort and storyline here, but not my favorite. But I watched anyway. If you haven’t checked out this flick, you probably can die without regret.

4: Monster-in-Law – Do you feel me nudging you on your shoulder right now? Oh hi. Yeah, that’s me, nudging you awake. Cause you’re watching Monster-in-Law. This was a bit of yawn-fest for me. Watching J-Lo slap Jane Fonda was probably the highlight of the whole thing.

3: Failure To Launch –  SJP is so gosh darn cute, and she worked out this movie nicely, while Mathew Mcconaughey and his hard chest is always some sweet ass eye candy. So I can’t hate on this movie too much. I actually think I watched it more than once. Maybe it was so I could look at Terry Bradshaw’s naked ass on more than one occasion.

2: Maid In Manhattan – Sorry J-Lo. I love ya, but all this one did was influence me to get up off the couch and clean my house. If there’s one J-Lo rom-com that I could watch again, it’s The Wedding Planner. There’s some really cute moments in there and we get Mat McConaughey again. Notice I’m not really talking about Maid In Manhattan.

1: Mr. Wrong – I must confess, I’ve never seen this movie. Or heard of it. But came across it and felt that even without seeing it, I can label it THE worst romantic comedy of all time. And at the same time, be a teeny tiny bit interested in watching it. If you’re not sold purely on the movie poster photo of Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Pullman, well you don’t have a romantic bone in your body.
